The effects of DIY

We have been working on our tile floors for the kitchen and dining room the last week or so and so far, so good... until yesterday. Little Paul, being the curious boy that he is, was standing a little too close to the bucket when his daddy was mixing mortar. The drill had a mind of its own and spun out of daddy's hands. 3 goose eggs and 2 gashes later our babe is surviving. Not the proudest moment in parent history, but the tile is lookin good!

Chicago family pictures

My boys are cubbie fans, so I guess I have to join in.

The 4 generations of Paul W. Deering

These pictures were taken when we were in Chicago this last summer(June). I had filed the disk away and forgot where I put it. So for everyone wanting to see them... sorry it took so long!

First try at an onion...

Our sweet neighbor made this rocking horse for Paul

Powder all over the new floor we just installed

Jackie... our new doggie!

For those who don't know, due to living arrangments when we first moved to Cali, we needed to find a home for our great doggie Tia. So... she was adopted by another family about 4 months ago. We couldn't live too long with out a family pet, so when we bought our home, we saved this girls life and brought her to her new home. Little Paul found a best friend really quick!

Army Crawling

Little Red Dots

It has been a rough couple of weeks for baby Paul...Last Saturday we took him into the Dr and he had an ear infection along with a bad cold!!! So we put him on amoxicillin and things were good......last night he started a little rash. He woke up this morning covered head to toe in red dots! So we took him in today and he is allergic to Penicillin!!! This is his lovely body!

He is doing well and still has his big smile!
